Steps & Eligibility

Step 1

Check your eligibility to take the PMP exam:

Step 2

Know the costs associated:

The cost of the PMP boot camp includes a physical exam prep book and an electronic Fast Track mock quiz. The cost of the 35-hour PM competency certificate only includes the exam prep book. There are some corporate and individual students who are just looking to earn the 35-hour PM competency certificate and not the PMP certification necessarily or may want to take the exam at a later time.  Additionally the student is responsible for the below costs if they choose to take the  PMP exam:

  1. Registration for PMP exam (PMI member) - $425.00
  2. Registration for PMP exam (PMI non-member) - $675.00

Step 3

Self-Study (MANDATORY)

You will not pass the exam without significant self-study over a 4 week period parallel to the 35-hour bootcamp. Students will receive their mandatory PMP exam prep book at least 2 weeks before boot camp starts in addition to a chapter by chapter schedule. Self-study is mandatory and needs to begin 2 weeks before your bootcamp starts. The more you study the higher the likelihood that you will pass the first time. Additionally, the Fast Track mock quiz is invaluable because it will show you where you are proficient and where you need to improve by category: process, people and business case. 

Step 4

Get your 35-hour certificate and register for the PMP exam:

Upon completion of the 35-hour bootcamp you will receive a 35-hour project management competency certificate. You will need this certificate to register for the exam. Compete registration your registration:

Step 5

Pass the exam!

This class serves two purposes:

  1. Teach students 35-hours of project management competency and certificate.
  2. Students pass the first attempt. This class teaches you the material on the exam and how to correctly answer questions to pass the exam. It is an estimate only that you need 115 out of 180 questions to pass and earn your PMP certificate.

If you fail, do not worry, you can participate in further boot camps for up to 90 days at no cost and we will review with students that fail the exam the different categories where they were below proficiency in order to help them improve and then pass the exam.
